Major Project Experience
- Client representative on the technical committee at multiparty Superfund site; actively involved in negotiations with USEPA and State agencies, review of technical work products, and development of work scopes for engineering and contracting services.
- Managed environmental, health and safety auditing program to evaluate regulatory compliance at various small to medium-sized manufacturing operations. Coordinated audit follow-up and tracking efforts to ensure final audit closeouts.
- Developed program to evaluate waste disposal/recycle vendors to aid client in consolidating waste management services, reducing costs, and minimizing potential liabilities.
- Project manager for a remediation project in Ohio consisting of the removal and treatment of lead contaminated soils from manufacturing areas and adjacent residential areas.
- Project manager on a remedial action project in Florida utilizing pump and treatment, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, and chemical oxidation treatment for soils and groundwater.
- Project manager for all work plan development, investigations and remedial activities associated with the divestiture of manufacturing facilities dealing with issues such as UST's, and soil and groundwater quality.
- Developed and presented environmental and safety program training, including development of model programs, compliance assistance, and management systems.
- Conducted due diligence/risk assessment audits for business acquisitions/divestitures and real estate transactions. Conducted Phase I ESAs and managed Phase II investigations.
