Major Project Experience
- Part of a company-wide team to manage the divestiture of thousands of properties across the country for a global energy company. Assisted with the planning and implementation of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments according to rigid schedules, budgets and safety requirements. Some of the specific tasks accomplished include:
• Financial management
• Project milestones tracking using a QMG-created database

• Interfacing with the technical consultants and regulators in each specific market
• Supporting technical consultants in the field
• Conducting safety audits in the field
• Information flow management via a web-based SharePoint site
• Interfacing weekly with the client management team to report progress in each market
- Managed a $1 million investigation of a former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) facility in New York City. Responsibilities included: participating in strategy sessions with the client, reviewing technical documents, negotiating the scope of work and contracts with subcontractors, attended weekly progress meetings with client & third party to ensure that the project remained on track and within budget, generation of a database to handle the soil and groundwater data collected from the field event, and preparation of a report for the NYSDEC.
- Managed environmental liabilities and investigations for a New Jersey based Petroleum Company with over 30 service stations in the State of New Jersey. Conducted technical document review, scope of work development, preparation and negotiation of annual budgets, regulatory interface and provide support to outside counsel for litigation issues.
- Managed, supervised and conducted multiple–site remedial investigations. Developed and implemented work plans for comprehensive environmental site evaluations. The work plans were generally associated with New Jersey ISRA, New York Voluntary Cleanup Program and RCRA. Developed viable remedial alternatives, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Managed, supervised and conducted multiple underground storage tank investigation and remediation cases that included the supervision of onsite underground storage tank (UST) excavation activities and collection of post excavation soil samples to ensure compliance with state and local UST excavation requirements.
- Represented client in the Lower Passaic River Potential Responsible Party group. Attended monthly meetings and reported activities and status to client.
- Supervised and conducted site remedial investigation for a pharmaceutical facility under New Jersey ISRA and RCRA. The facility was initially identified with over 100 areas of environmental concern which were addressed and reduced to two remaining areas. Managed the soil reuse
program to address sediments storm water detention basins.
- Office Team Leader responsible for shared oversight of 20–person office for an environmental consulting firm. Conducted weekly review of workload balance and workload forecasting, coordinated recruiting, coordinated employee training and annual performance evaluations.
