Major Project Experience
- Over twenty years of experience in staffing and managing both large and small environmental investigation and remediation projects for commercial clients and government agencies.
- Conducted and/or managed dozens of site assessments, hydrogeologic investigations, corrective measure studies, and demolition projects across the country.
- Completed environmental investigations in 17 different countries.
- Designed and managed the installation and operation of various recovery/treatment systems, including soil removal, soil venting, pump and treat, and bioremediation.
- Conducted due diligence for business acquisitions and divestitures and real estate transactions. Used probabilistic cost models and risk/benefit evaluations to help determine the true value of the transactions.
- Developed and implemented a worldwide environmental assessment program for evaluating environmental liabilities at hundreds of chemical facilities around the world. The assessments included Phase I and II environmental investigations and resulted in the accrual of over $35 million dollars for remediation.
- Developed and conducted training programs in the handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
- Managed several multi million–dollar facility decommissioning and remediation projects that included extensive subsurface investigations, building decontamination, asbestos removal, and building demolition.
- Developed a system to ensure that the TSDF and recycling facilities used by a major chemical company met their standards of operation. Also conducted and coordinated the completion of audits for these facilities on a regularly scheduled timeline.
- Corrective Measure Studies and Corrective Measure Implementations for dozens of sites.
- Developed specifications and bidding documents for numerous site investigations, remediation, and demolition projects.
- Negotiations with regulatory agencies, and third parties.
- Worked with dozens of contractors and consultants on contract and price negotiations.
